The light cruiser ``Sakao'' was laid down at the Sasebo Naval Arsenal in November 1945 during the war as the fourth Agano-class ship, and was completed in November 1944 at the end of the war.

The shape of the modern Agano class, which is different from the flow of previous Japanese light cruisers, has been completely reproduced.
