Kyosho 1/43 Subaru S209 (White) [Limited 400pcs] Resin Model Car

This is the third STI tuned model for the US market, following the WRX STI Type RA and BRZ tS, and is limited to 209 units. The S209 is the first to appear in the "S Series," the pinnacle of complete cars. It was clearly introduced as an image leader car to firmly establish the Subaru brand in North America, the main market, and the biggest difference is that it is equipped with an EJ25 turbo instead of the EJ20 turbo used in the Japanese market. However, the concept of embodying speed that can be controlled at the driver's will is the same, and fine-tuned including a special turbine is applied so that the driver can step on the accelerator with confidence and comfort in any situation, and the maximum output reaches 345 PS, the highest in STI history.

　The exterior is designed to accommodate the 265/30R19 wide tires, with over fenders, air outlets, and bumper side canards, which are exclusive items not found on the Japanese model, reminiscent of the 22B STI that Subaru fans long for. The front under spoiler and GT wing are shaped like the S208, but the aerodynamic balance has been optimized.

　Furthermore, the WRX-style Bilstein suspension is fitted with large Brembo brakes. To ensure reliable stability and high cornering performance, the car is fitted with a flexible tower bar developed for the Nürburgring 24-hour race, front and rear flexible draws, and a carbon roof for reduced weight and a lower center of gravity, making it a fitting culmination of the VAB-type WRX.
