This electric R/C bike features a rider figure that hangs on and races through corners just like a real car .

Since its release in 1992, the Hang-On Racer has been a perennial bestseller from Kyosho, and remains a firm favorite. In addition to the stable driving performance provided by the SDSS (Semi-Direct Steering System), which allows the R/C electric motorcycle to move completely independently, the rider figure features 13 points of articulation, allowing it to hang on to the ground when cornering, creating a driving feel that's almost like a real motorcycle, making it relatively easy for anyone to experience. While the Hang-On Racer prides itself on its realistic driving performance, its appeal lies in the meticulous construction of each part, which emphasizes a sense of scale. The detailed body cowl, inverted front fork suspension, brake discs and calipers, wheels, drive chain, sprocket, and asymmetrical swingarm are all realistically reproduced, resulting in a finish that is suitable for use as a display model. Furthermore, the limited number of parts allows even R/C beginners to assemble the bike in a short amount of time. The pinion gear has been upgraded from plastic to metal.

 

The rider figure has 13 joints and can be controlled along with the steering, recreating the hang-on form just like a real rider.

 

The steering is equipped with the original SDSS (Semi-Direct Steering System) mechanism, which allows cornering while fully banking.

 

The inverted front fork suspension is similar to the real thing and is fitted with scale brake discs and calipers.

 

Equipped with an asymmetrical swing arm and a friction damper monoshock. Chain drive system using a mini chain, just like the real car.

 

One of the attractions of the Hang-On Racer is its high scale appearance, and it comes with a bike stand that can be used as a display model when not in use.

 

The fall prevention guard included in the kit is effective when installed when you are unable to start the bike on its own or when the bike leans too much while cornering and falls over.

 

Although sold separately, a steering servo, speed controller, and battery (Super Charge 1600 7.2V Stick Pack) specifically for the Hang-On Racer are also available.
