The small-scale Mini-Z Racer, in particular, is easy to drive indoors, making it ideal for those with little R/C car experience. The core Mini-Z Racer model, the rear-wheel-drive "Mini-Z RWD" Readyset, is being updated with a new chassis! While previous Readysets used the third-generation MR-03 chassis, the rear-wheel-drive Mini-Z Racer, this updated version is based on the fourth-generation MR-04 chassis, which debuted in 2023. While retaining the basic design of the MR-03, the MR-04 has undergone significant evolution with a lower center of gravity and revised steering design. It debuted as the top-of-the-line Mini-Z model, the EVO2, and boasted incredible speed and maneuverability. This MR-04 chassis is now equipped with a Readyset R/C unit and combined with a pre-assembled body of display-model quality. Even in its Readyset form, the materials used for each chassis remain unchanged, maintaining the same high-end model quality. The motor is an easy-to-use 130-class brushed motor, and the transmitter is a Syncro KT-531P with a steering wheel and gun grip, a design popular in R/C cars, ensuring exceptional reliability. Simply install four AAA alkaline batteries in each of the chassis and transmitter and the car is ready to race. Enjoy driving in its standard condition, or use a wide range of optional MINI-Z parts to transform it into a machine worthy of top-class racing. The MR-04 chassis retains the advantages of the MR-03 while achieving significant performance improvements through updates such as a lower center of gravity. Control is now even easier, making it the perfect introduction to R/C cars.

The new front knuckle with integrated kingpin reduces scrub by 1.5mm on each side compared to the MR-03, resulting in sharper and more linear control. The ball bearings have been changed to a 3mm inner diameter type, successfully reducing rotational resistance.

The newly adopted suspension parts 2.0 optimize the caster angle, achieving both maneuverability and stability in high-speed driving situations.

The chassis uses four AAA alkaline or rechargeable nickel-metal hydride batteries for power. The battery is mounted lower than the MR-03, lowering the center of gravity of the entire chassis. This ensures stable cornering and smooth handling.

The rear suspension uses coil spring dampers to absorb and damp road shocks for improved driving stability. Optional oil-filled dampers are also available.

A T-bar type rear suspension plate that achieves suspension effect by utilizing the flexibility of the plate that holds the entire unit including the motor and rear tire. FRP and carbon fiber are also available as optional parts.

All axles are fitted with low rotational resistance ball bearings as standard. The same size ball bearings are used for both front and rear, making it easy to prepare spare parts.

When changing from the standard body, a parts set is included to change the front tread (vehicle width) to match the body being installed. Changing the rear tread is done by changing the wheel offset.

Includes Syncro KT-531P transmitter with a steering wheel and trigger-type throttle (speed control) style that mimics the steering wheel of a real car. Equipped with trim to adjust the neutral position of the steering and throttle, and dual rate to adjust the steering angle. Training mode (set to training mode at the time of shipment) allows for operation with a reduced vehicle speed.
