Wilesco D 21 Steam Engine

WILESCO D21 STEAM ENGINE - RED, BRASS, BLACK D21: Noble beauty in red and black The steam engine D21 is a power engine with a double-acting, fixed brass cylinder.

The technical data correspond to those of the D 20, but the special color scheme should be emphasized here, which gives this machine a particularly elegant finish: All metal parts are painted in black and red.

The flywheel was also painted red.

This special machine is rounded off by high-gloss polished precious brass parts. A special technical feature is the built-in feed water pump, which can only be found on the D21 steam engine within the Wilesco range.

Water pump allows refilling during operation This water pump enables the boiler to be refilled with water while the steam engine is in operation.

The condensate is drained into a condensation water tray below the chimney and causes the chimney to steam.

With the D21, the steam outlet can be regulated manually using a steam shut-off valve.

The engine is powered by our Witabs dry fuel, one load of Witabs is enough for about 10-15 minutes of steam fun.

From the first time the steam engine is turned on, it takes approx. 5 minutes until sufficient steam pressure has built up and the machine can be started.

The D21 then has enough power to drive several drive models.

So you can follow the conversion of thermal energy into kinetic energy very clearly.
