The Advance Hobby Cruiser is a large, adjustable building jig designed to support longer model ships while keeping both hands free for assembly, painting and detailed work. Four independently positionable hull supports provide stable, evenly distributed support across the model.
Multiple Support Configurations
Two support-arm sizes are included, allowing you to configure the Cruiser for different hull widths and profiles. Each support can be positioned independently, adjusted to match the angle of the hull and lined with self-adhesive foam to help protect the model’s surface.

Built-In Measuring Guides
Engraved measuring guides make it easy to position the four supports evenly across both base sections. The extended MDF base provides a stable work platform for larger projects while helping keep the model properly supported.
Extended Two-Section Design
The Cruiser uses two base sections joined securely with the included connecting plates and hardware. This creates an extended working area with four support points to distribute the model’s weight and provide greater stability during detailed work.
Designed for Larger Model Vessels
Ideal for many larger model ships and submarines, including selected 1:72 to 1:350 scale vessels. Compatibility will depend on the model’s actual length, width and hull shape.

Simple Flat-Pack Assembly
The Cruiser jig arrives as a flat-packed MDF kit. Assemble both jig sections using PVA glue, then join them using the included connecting plates and hardware. Assembly takes approximately 15–30 minutes, excluding glue-drying time.
